I've decided not to let one idiot ruin blogging for me, and decided to go public again. It's just to much of a hassle to log in for everyone, so here we are again folks!

A pictureless post...
What? You mean I can do that? Yes, this post will contain no photographs of my little ham. Kaden is in his bed working his way to sleep as I type this post. Daddy, Kaden and I all enjoyed a nice trip to the pediatricians office this afternoon. Kaden has been pulling on his ear for a few days now and this morning and today (all day) he has been fussy and irritable. Which is NOT my baby, so I knew he didn't feel good and it either had to be his ears or teething, which he still has no signs of a tooth but acts like he is working on a tooth non-stop. Sure enough, Mom's intuitions were right, the doctor confirmed that he has a little ear infection in both ears. She said it wasn't really bad yet, and we are taking amoxicillin again for 10 days because it worked for his first ear infection a couple months ago.
Plus, we are going to Arkansas this weekend camping with my family and we don't want to have fever and ear aches on our trip. We will be gone Friday through Sunday nights, and we are looking forward to it. We are taking the bikes and planning to hike the trails as well. Fun..fun! My Mom and Step-Dad as well as my two brothers and their families are going. Should be some quality family time.
Lance & I have enjoyed this month of July so far, primarily because Lance has been home with us and I'm off work too! However, we are both without a job at the moment and have about another month to find us both jobs before things get very bad for us financially. We are both looking everyday.
We are LOVING being here, at home, with Kaden. He is just precious and we laugh at him (and with him) all day long. He has brought so much joy to our hearts. We have also been working on the house. We had bought two five gallon buckets of paint last summer at Lowe's to do the interior of our house with. Well, we got the ceilings painted in the whole house first. Second, we painted the hallway and living room. That's as far as we've gotten. I have lots of wallpaper to strip in the kitchen and master bathroom, then texture and painting to do in those rooms. One room at a time! We just got new appliances in the kitchen and I put up a new back splash in the kitchen the other day.
Kaden weighed 19 pounds and 12 ounces today at the doctor, he is in size 3 diapers and 6-9 month clothes. He is enjoying his baby food, we still have 4-5 6oz. bottles per day with 2 Tbl.spoons baby food twice daily. We have also been doing 1oz. water and 1oz. juice mixed each day practicing drinking for two days now. He likes to drink from his cup. He is such a good eater and loves all these things so far: rice cereal, peas, sweet potatoes, applesauce, squash, peaches, carrots. I'm thinking of trying avocados with him soon! He is sitting up alone, but still needs some support or to be catch every few seconds. But, he is getting stronger and better each day. He is a rolling machine and rolls all the time when we lay him down. Don't leave him on a pallet and expect him to be in the same spot in 1 minute. He'll be completely off the pallet and halfway across the room! We are enjoying his new discoveries each day and his latest thing is to FAKE cough to get your attention. It is TOO CUTE!

What have we been doing lately?
Just hangin' out
IS this not the CUTEST sitting up alone baby you've ever seen???
This is Kaden petting his Sadie dog. He LOVES her!

Kaden is sitting up so good now and almost completely alone, except he falls over a lot -or- everytime, eventually, but he's getting stronger and better every day. He has also started standing up this week and holding on to things with our support, of course, like this...
Kaden officially started rolling over on July 13th. He rolls from back to side to belly and belly to back. So, now he has officially, for the first time, slept on his tummy. And, I think he kind-of likes it. It makes me nervous though... He is moving ALL the time now!
This is what my little monkey was doing while I was doing the new back splash in the kitchen...

Paparazzi baby...
It's hard work keeping the paparazzi away from this handsome boy...
It seems that EVERYONE wants to touch, hug, kiss, photograph and talk to this celebrity red headed baby boy EVERYWERE we go...
So, this is how he entertains his fans...

Kaden says he will happily sign autographs for any fans as soon as his mom lets him get a hold of the stamp pad.

Out with the old, in with the new...
We got a new stove/oven and microwave. Our thermostat has been messed up in our oven for months and I haven't been able to bake anything for a long time without burning it! So, I'm looking forward to cooking again soon! I might just become Suzy Homemaker now. Ha..ha..
Here's the new goods...

I also did a new back splash all by myself and in only one afternoon/evening! YEAH!
Here it is:
Remember the old ugly tile?
We still have a long way to go. We have to get the regfrigerator matching next, but, oh well! And, we have to get matching cabinet hardware and rid of the southwest border on the top of the kitchen cabinets. One thing at a time though! And, I LOVE my new appliances!

Summer time, summer time!
We just can't get over how Kaden is changing every day. He is growing so fast and his personality is coming out more and more each day. We are enjoying every second with him right now.
Oh Yes! He has discovered his toes, and they have found their way into his mouth!
Anytime we lay him down for a diaper change this is what happens...

Yes, that is our boy, sucking on his toes!!!
For Fourth of July weekend we went to the lake and camped out with my family. (My Mom and step-dad as well as my two brothers and their families) It was a GREAT time! We really enjoyed bike riding, fishing, and just hanging out with the kids. By the way, this CAMPING was right up my alley, we stayed in an airconditioned LAKE HOUSE!!! Does that count as camping??? It even had a washer and dryer so we came home with CLEAN laundry! NICE!
Here is my NEWEST toy and workout program:

Look at our little Kaden just riding along and chillin in his cart! I love it and so does he! We have rode bikes for three nights now and tonight Daddy went with us!

My brother, Jamie, let us borrow the bicycle cart for Kaden and I couldn't be more appreciative. What a GREAT invention!
Here is Kaden with his Nana (my mom) on the 4th: Ha!

And, with Uncle Lenny...(my brother)
These are my two sweet boys sleeping...
Kaden's first time in a tot swimming pool...

And, this is my nephew, Jacob, in the little pool next to Kaden's baby pool!
Here's a picture of Kaden eating peas for the first time, his first day to eat food!
In the Johnny Jumper for the first time...
Striking a pose for Dad and Mom after a bath...
Kaden's first time in the swimming pool at Granny Fisher's house...(and, his first time to swim ever!)

This is Kaden 'chillin' with mom....I love this...
Lance & I are both frantically on the job hunt right now. I did not get the ag teacher job that I interviewed for, I just found out today, so I am looking again -or-still. We are enjoying our time at home together as a family, (Yeah, it's nice to have Lance hme with us) and trying very hard to hand this all over to God to carve our path again. For we know he has a plan for us.
We hope you are all enjoying your summers! Good night!

Look Who's Five Months Old!
Today, July 2, 2009 is Kaden's five month birthday! And, what is he up to you may ask?
This hat is from my friend Catherine, and her baby girl Adeline. Thanks, it's so cute and his name is monogrammed on it!
He has OFFICIALLY learned how to shake every toy I hand him today and then throw it! He is no longer using the bouncy chair as of today because he just flipped it over as I am typing this! He's a B-U-S-Y boy these days!
Kaden was most uncooperative this morning for his 5 month birthday pictures, and I can't say that I blame him, it's just TOO hot!

So, I'm thinking this next one is the best picture for today...
His outfit of choice this week has been a diaper and nothing else. Chandra, his big first cousin (Who is 7) said, "Kaden is naked!" I told her that no he isn't naked because he is wearing his diaper.
This is my sweet baby boy waking up this morning in his bed on his 5 month birthday!
A little bit about you:
Weight: 19 pounds 4 ounces
Height: 27 1/2 inches (your tall!)
Size 3 diapers
Size 6-9 month clothes and they are snug!
You are eating 6 ozs. of formula every 3-4 hours during the day, rice cereal twice a day (4 tsp.), and TODAY we started you on peas! You did GREAT, you ate 2 whole Tablespoons (the recommended amount) and loved it! You are a good eater! And Mommy is very happy about that.
You are asleep by 10 each night and sleep until at least 5 a.m. in your own bed. (Right next to Mommy's side of the bed, of course!) Most nights you wake up for a bottle at 5, then we go back to bed until 8 or 9 or 10 sometimes. You are a great sleeper!
You still have not gotten a tooth and we were SO sure you were teething this whole time, but I guess you are not. Mommy has enjoyed being home with you so much the whole month of June. And now we have all of July! Yeah!!!
