Kaden’s new thing is The Lone Ranger! He has worn this cape and mask everywhere we have gone the last week. He is a HOOT! So, we HAD to have bluebonnet pictures with it on!
This is what I LOVE about 3! If only you could get rid of the terrible fit pitching it would be a perfect age!
The cowboy hat goes EVERYWHERE Kaden goes, he L.O.V.E.S it. He also wants to wear his jeans only these days, so he can wear his “metal belt” he calls it, that’s his western belt, and his cowboy boots!
I hope this THREE year old cowboy always keeps his great imagination and dares to DREAM big his whole life!
This sweet cowboy melts my heart!
I can’t believe how fast you are growing Kaden. Everyone thinks you are at least four, not just turned three! You weigh over 41 pounds, just switched you to a BOOSTER chair in the car last week. You are TALL! You measure 42 inches tall. That’s 3’6!!! You wear 4T clothes and a size 12 shoe!
You are still, and always will be, my baby! I watch you sleep sometimes and just want to cry because you are growing up so fast. I wish I could just keep you little forever. I hope that you will always love your Momma and Daddy the way you do now.
Our niece Chandra had her 10th birthday party on Saturday. I can’t believe how fast she is growing up either. These kids have to slow down a little!
She ALWAYS gets the cutest girl clothes. LOVE them!!!
On Sunday, we went to our friend Hayden’s Third Birthday Party! Look at this adorable TRAIN cake! Megan always outdoes herself on décor! Hayden’s party was adorable! That cake was YUMMYLICIOUS! I had a piece for myself and ice cream as well as a piece for baby girl and some more ice cream! Ha!
Kaden trying really hard to get into Hayden’s cake before it’s time for cake. You gotta watch that boy!
Jeff, Megan and Hayden!
Getting ready to blow those candles out!!!
Love this picture of Hayden, he looks so overwhelmed by all the gifts, people, and ‘HELP’ he received opening gifts!
Kaden L.O.V.E.S to play at Hayden’s house. He especially loves Hayden’s tractor equipment, train set, and hot wheels tower!
Outside playtime is always the best though for a bunch of BOYS!
These three boys had fun chasing bubbles for a few minutes…
Then, it was time to move the party to the sand box!
The sand box wasn’t quite big enough for Kaden, he had to go to the big sand pile and DIG! Told ya’ll this boy is my DIGGER!
On Sunday night we had a SHOOT OUT at home! This is one of Kaden’s favorite things to change into.
Now, if that’s not cute to you, I don’t know what would be!
On Monday morning my sister Tonya, and nephew Lewis surprised me and Kaden with a visit! They spent the day with us, stayed the night and left Tuesday morning. It was such a fun treat!
My Mom and Granny came over and spent the day with us too! We had Tonya a little baby shower of our own to give her all the gifts the three of us had gotten her. It was fun to look at all the little clothes!
Lewis had surgery a few days ago to have his tonsils and adnoids removed and tubes in his ears. Bless his heart, he can’t eat much and feels pretty rotten every few hours or so when the meds wear off.
So, Nana and Granny are helping the boys color and work in activity books here. Nana brought Lewis some Nana Magic Soup to make him feel better!
Me and Granny 26 weeks pregnant with baby girl.
Tonya and I are due 10 days apart, her July 10 and me July 20!
Tonya brought the boys colored bubbles and sidewalk chalk. They had lots of fun, and made a big mess! Thanks for the fun toys Aunt Tonya and the tent!
Two are better than one, because they have a good reward for their labor. For if they fall, one will lift up his companion. But woe to him who walks alone when he falls, for he has no one to help him up. Again, if two lie down together they will keep warm; but how can one be warm alone? Though one may be overpowered by another, two can withstand him. -Ecclesiastes 4 : 9-12

Easter Sunday 2012
On Easter Sunday we woke up to a stuffed Easter basket surprise for Kaden. He was so excited with everything in his basket! Especially the candy. He has been on a sugar high for three days, and today is the first day I hid all the candy and we have had none. Both of us! Ha!

We went to church as a family, then headed to the Mabe family Easter party. Egg Hunt #3 for Kaden!
This is Kaden’s baby cousin, Jylien, whom he absolutely adores. He is so gentle and good with her. I know he is going to be so sweet with his own baby sister. He loves baby Jylien!
My egg hunting CHAMPION!!!

Winking at the Ladies…
Kaden with all his cousins.
After the egg hunt, the kids PLAYED, PLAYED, PLAYED!!!
This is Kaden playing an animal sounds game on his cousin Chandler’s ipod. He loves this!
I think that’s a wrap on Easter, at last! We still haven’t gotten a bluebonnet picture made this year. I have to do that tomorrow with Kaden, or I know I won’t get one. And, I have one each year with him so far. Don’t want to miss that this year!
He is risen! He is not here. –Mark 16:6
