Daddy's Home!

Just a quick update because a few of you are wondering if we are at the hospital. Not yet! Not yet! But that can literally change at any time. I am contracting, it's just being really annoying and inconsistent now that Lance has made it home. Go figure! He got home last night about 8p.m. We have spent today running around town like chickens with our heads cut off, walking everywhere, and picking up last minutes needs for the house before little baby Kaden arrives. We had a great day together, Lance called it our "DATE DAY". We walked the square downtown and went in all the antique stores, had lunch, went to the winery and had hot tea (me) and coffee (him). We went and got me a pedicure and manicure, at least I feel a little prettier now for delivery! It was just a nice day we shared today! I feel so lucky to have such a loving husband. I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE having him home and us spending the day together. I have NEEDED this!!!
I had a sort of surprise visitor this evening, Tonya Renee, my step sister who lives in Arizona got to visit with her family and finally meet Lance, and me finally meet her baby boy Lewis. She was in town for the funeral of her grandfather. She took some photos, and I'll post a picture one day when she sends me a copy. We haven't seen each other in like 3 years! CRAZY!!!
Lance has been working his tail end off this evening cleaning the house up, doing laundry, and cleaning out the guest room to make room for NANA (my Mom). My Mom is going to stay with us for a while (as long as she wants!) when we come home from the hospital to help me get going with Kaden Angus. Anyway, her bed is ready now. And, speaking of my mom, tomorrow, January 31, is her birthday. Maybe she'll get a grandson for her birthday! We will have to wait and see! Or maybe he'll be born on Super Bowl Sunday? Or maybe he'll hold out until Monday and be a groundhog baby. Either way or either day we will be just as excited! We are SO anxious for this thing to HAPPEN!!! Come on Kaden, you can come out now, your Daddy is home!!!
