Several things have influenced my decision to go private with my blog.
First of all, I blog for myself, as a scrapbook of memories for me and my family. I plan to eventually have this blog printed by a blog printing company that makes your blog into a book and have it for Kaden to see his childhood. I do not blog for my readers. I could really care less if anyone reads this. I know grandparents and siblings and close friends do follow to see pictures of Kaden and what he's up to.
And, that is the purpose for this, to record MY thoughts and MY memories and MY life.
Second, I have closed my comment section until my blog goes private. I had a person leave a very hurtful and disturbing comment on my blog. It was a total stranger and the person did not want to identify themselves, IMAGINE THAT! I don't want people like that even seeing my blog. Once my blog is private to friends, family, and legitimate followers I will open comments back up again.
As my husband says, "If I had any respect for your opinion, I might be offended." After talking this over with him, I choose to laugh this off.
Third, I am a Christian. I do strive to live my life learning, growing, and changing to be more like HIM.
