Mom's Blood Pressure: Good and Low
Mom's Swelling: almost completely gone away!
Mom's weight: I lost 4 pounds this week! (All in water weight from drinking LOADS of water this week and laying down all the time)
Baby Heartbeat: Strong and thumping right along, he is also in the perfect position for delivery.
Doctor did not check today for dilation. That was disappointing to me seeing as I have been hurting pretty bad today, but that all started after my appointment. Contractions are still every 10-15 minutes, not consistent, but did become painful this afternoon. (Painful enough that I cried!)
For now we are just waiting this baby out! Next week little Kaden will be considered a FULL TERM BABY BOY!!! Can't wait to cross that off our list!

Good Doctor Visit
We went to the doctor this afternoon for a check up. He had all the results from my tests while in the hospital and it appears I just had a really bad stomach virus. I have made a full recovery now, and am feeling better. I have some serious swelling in my ankles, oh wait, I don't have ankles anymore! My doctor doesn't seem concerned with the swelling or headaches that have developed this week because my blood pressure is good. However, I packed on the water weight this week weighing in at 186. Yikes! That's 51 pounds and 4 weeks to go my friends. Oh Well!
While at my visit today, he checked my cervix which is still high and tight, and they did a Group B Strep Test which they do on every pregnant woman between weeks 35-40. The strep is fairly common, and if a carrier the woman can pass to her baby during a vaginal delivery. So, they do a swab test to check for it, if for some reason the woman does have Strep B she will be administered antibiotics during labor. If strep B is passed to the baby it can cause brain and blood infections. So, better to be safe than sorry.
Also, I discussed with the doctor the fact that I have been experiencing contractions about every 10-12 minutes while in the hospital, then sporadically throughout the week, then constant since yesterday evening. Starting yesterday evening, I've been really cramping with them. Not intense pain, but like menstrual cramps. He said that what I have been experiencing are not strong enough to change my cervix, because it hasn't changed yet. So, he says as he's giggling, those contractions will be a lot more painful. He says I now know what to expect just a lot more intense pain. GREAT!
But, as for now mom and baby are doing great...growing right along! We go back next Friday for our weekly visit. I can't believe we are 32 days away from having him here for sure!!! YEAH!!!
