The List, Continued...
Number Six: Breastflow Bottles by The First Years for breastfed babies. These nipples are desgined to work like the breast, the baby has to suck on them the same as the breast to get the milk out. We have been loving them!
Ok, my BRAIN has just left me and I have a fussy baby, so I have to stop again...

Must Haves!
There are a few products that are must haves for me in having a new baby boy. (Or baby, in general, on some of these products.) I definately want to remember these products if I ever have another baby.
Number One: The Pee Pee Tee Pee!!!
Need I say more???
Number Two: Jazzy Toes has all of these PRECIOUS sock shoes for newborns and toddlers. I received two sets of the cowboy boot socks in all colors from two friends, Catherine and Martha, for Kaden, they are SO CUTE!!! Also, my baby boy has HUGE feet and never got to wear his newborn or size 1 shoes, these socks are a perfect option for shoes, they are cute and so much easier and comfortable!!!
Number Three: The Baby BJorn pouch! My friend, Sarah, recommended this to me for grocery shopping. You just put your baby in and you can cover them completely with a blanket and they are snuggled to your chest, so you don't have to worry about strangers touching or peeking at your little one. This has been wonderful for me at the house when I am alone, I just stick him in, he falls asleep, and I can do dishes, cook, walk to the mailbox, etc. It's been great!
Number Four: Anytime my baby is asleep, he is on this wedge sleep positioner. I love it!
Number Five: Tonya gave me these reusable, washable nursing pads by Gerber. After going through two boxes of disposable paper nursing pads, these are SO much better!!
I'm out of time for one handed typing right now, my boy has finished his bottle, and we are off to change a diaper. I will continue this list at some point! :)

It's all getting BETTER...
at least, I hope so anyhow. I have worked really hard with my body and my little man to continue breastfeeding (YEAH!), and I think it is all falling into place better now. I decided to not breast feed him for a full 24 hours, I did give him pumped breast milk in a bottle though, as well as two meals of formula. For the last four days he has gotten the majority of his day time meals in formula in a bottle. And, last night and this morning when I breast fed him again it didn't hurt. It has been better a whole day now! I'm super excited about this! :)
I have also cut my milk supply back a little by doing this, but I am only feeding him at the breast in the morning, at night, and maybe a snack during the day, the rest of the day we are using formula and a bottle. This has really helped me. Last night my Mom spent the night, and I was able to be asleep by 12 and she woke me at 6 A.M.!!! (WOO-HOO, that's 6 hours!!!) I haven't slept that long since Kaden got here. She was able to feed him a bottle at 3 am which allowed me to get some sleep. Holy Crap, it was NICE to sleep that long. I still feel tired, but at least a little more refreshed for tonight. The bottle feedings allow me to sleep a little longer when Lance is home because he can do a feeding for me and allow me to sleep. (At least that's the plan, it hasn't happened yet though. I'm positive...positive thinking! Ha!)
My little monkey is GROWING!!! He is looking so much bigger and different the last few days, he is REALLY filling out and eating a lot! He still wants to eat EVERY 2-3 hours. He is SO SWEET! He is starting to verbalize coos and smiling a lot at me. He is just precious! I am enjoying him so much, no sleep and all!
Here's some more photos, enjoy!
Here is Kaden waking up the morning of his 1 month birthday in bed next to me, right where I swore I'd never let him start sleeping...but, he's happy there!!!
This was taken at 3 weeks, Kaden is smiling for his Nana here...
****Prayer Update- Tonya was to have her arm surgery this morning, I have not talked to her yet for an update, I will call her tomorrow. Please pray!
Okay, I have to run now. I'm attempting to cook dinner for my husband who will be home later tonight. Wish me luck!!!

One Month Old Today!

Our precious gift from God, Kaden Angus, turned one month old today! Happy One month birthday buddy!
Your Momma and Daddy love you SO much, you have made our life WONDERFUL. We are so in love with you and just sit and look at you and all the little things you do, your faces, your movements, and your actions.
You have started smiling at us the last couple of days and we are eatin' it up. You make us so happy and proud. We love and adore all of our time with you.
You have made us a complete family. We could not feel more blessed to have such a good and beautiful, healthy baby boy. We can't wait to watch you grow and change.

I Believe...
I believe- A Birth Certificate shows that we were born.
I believe - A Death Certificate shows that we died.
I believe - Pictures show that we lived!
I believe - You should have a seat . . . Relax .. . And read this slowly.
I believe - That just because two people argue, it doesn't mean they
don't love each other. And just because they don't argue, it doesn't mean
they do.
I believe - That we don't have to change friends if we understand that
friends change.
I believe - That no matter how good a friend is, they're going to hurt
you every once in a while and you must forgive them for that.
I believe - That true friendship continues to grow, even over the
longest distance. Same goes for true love.
I believe - That you can do something in an instant that will give you
heartache for life.
I believe - That it's taking me a long time to become the person I want
to be.
I believe - That you should always leave loved ones with loving words.
It may be the last time you see them.
I believe - That you can keep going long after you think you can't.
I believe - That we are responsible for what we do, no matter how we
feel.
I believe - That either you control your attitude or it controls you.
I believe - That heroes are the people who do what has to be done when
it needs to be done, regardless of the consequences.
I believe - That money is a lousy way of keeping score.
I believe - That my best friend and I can do anything or nothing and
have the best time.
I believe - That sometimes the people you expect to kick you when you're
down, will be the ones to help you get back up.
I believe - That sometimes when I'm angry I have the right to be angry,
but that doesn't give me the right to be cruel.
I believe - That maturity has more to do with what types of experiences
you've had and what you've learned from them and less to do with how
many birthdays you've celebrated.
I believe - That it isn't always enough to be forgiven by others.
Sometimes you have to learn to forgive yourself.
I believe - That no matter how bad your heart is broken the world
doesn't stop for your grief.
I believe - That our background and circumstances may have influenced
who we are, but we are responsible for who we become.
I believe - That you shouldn't be so eager to find out a secret. It
could change your life. Forever.
I believe - Two people can look at the exact same thing and see
something totally different.
I believe - That your life can be changed in a matter of hours by people
who don't even know you.
I believe - That even when you think you have no more to give, when a
friend cries out to you - you will find the strength to help.
I believe - That credentials on the wall do not make you a decent human
being.
I believe - That the people you care about most in life are taken from
you too soon.
I believe - That you should send this to all of the people that you
believe in. I just did.
