We are SO EXCITED about Kaden's first Christmas! We have been very busy getting prepared for this special occasion.
Not to mention the fact that Kaden has kept us severely BUSY the last few weeks. I thought the sleep situation was supposed to get better as they got older? (Like right now, it's 2:15 a.m. and I am typing this and Kaden is groaning over the baby monitor because it's like he has this sensor that tells him I am trying to get something done right now. ha!) Lance & I are exhausted from chasing this little boy around, playing with him, feeding him, changing him (which is getting to be quite the challenge all by itself), and bathing him. He is a MESS! We are enjoying every minute of it, don't get me wrong, but it is exhausting at the same time.
(Don't worry, this is NOT my tree he is attacking in these pictures, this was a tree at a hotel we stayed in last weekend. Kaden LOVED it, and it was fun to let him play with someone else's tree!)
Kaden, you are so funny these days and there are SO many new things you do each day now. For example, Friday night you learned to do "THE WAVE". You will through your hands over your head and yell, "WWHHHHEEEEEEWWWWW!" It's the funniest thing EVER!

You are also calling the donkeys, "EEEE-HAW, EEEE-HAW!" the cows, "MMMMMMOOO!", and you say "Momma" all the time. ( I love that! ) :)
You are still crawling at record speeds, and cruising on furniture. Today you took about 3-4 steps with your J.J. (She was holding one hand and walking with you) I think you will be walking soon.
This is Kaden crawling up the aisle at Hilary's Rehearsal for her wedding!
You are starting to eat LOTS of new things, and you DEMAND what ever we are eating/drinking. You make a funny sound every time you demand a drink/bite, it sounds something like this, "Iiiggght!" YOU ARE TOO FUNNY!
You have tried mashed up beans this week, some tiny pieces of turkey, ham, roast beef sandwich meats, cheese chunks, tomato, baked plain potato, mashed potato and gravy (with Daddy, of course!), orange pieces, orange juice, adult yogurt, and breads. YOU LOVE IT ALL! You have not rejected a single bite of anything! So far, so good. I keep waiting for you to get more teeth to really start feeding you more table food. You still only have the bottom two teeth.
I have SO much to catch up on! The last two weekends I have spent with my best friend, Hilary. We went to see the Rockette's weekend before last and stayed in a hotel and shopped and ate out and just had a great girl's night out in preparation for her wedding the next weekend.
This is Hilary at the Rockette show!
All of us bridesmaids after the show! Angela, Sheila, Hilary, and me...

This weekwnd was the wedding. It was WONDERFUL! We are all worn out from a whole weekend of WEDDING, but it was all worth it to see how beautiful Hilary looked and how wonderful it all turned out.
This is Hilary and her Daddy, Gus, coming down the aisle!!! (Auuuwww!)
I was Matron-of-Honor, sounds funny, doesn't it?

Dancing with Momma....

This is at the end of the night, Daddy, Kaden, blue bear, crashed in a chair....
Lance, Kaden and I stayed in a hotel two nights with Kaden, it was Kaden's first stay at a hotel. We wish we would have had more time to just relax at the hotel. We were go, go, go the whole two days and nights. One of these days, maybe...

We have family Christmas Parties starting on Wed and wrapping up on Sunday. Five total. CRAZINESS!!!
But, we are so excited to share our Christmas TOGETHER this year, if you recall last year here, and with our precious gift of joy, Kaden Angus. We have received the BEST gift of all this year, our baby boy. This is a flash back to Christmas last year, this is Kaden and I at Christmas last year.He makes our life so happy and full of joy. I just can't imagine life without him now. He has truly changed our lives.

10 months, already?

I have taking a couple weeks off from bloggy world, just been feeling a little BLAH! about the whole thing. However, I wanted to write a few things down from the last couple of weeks. We have been busy preparing for Christmas and enjoying our Thanksgiving holiday.
You will soon understand why I've had no free time to blog upon viewing my Kaden pictures! BUSY does not even begin to describe him these days.
Let's start here...

Need I say more?
Ha..You wish! I'm only getting warmed up.
Lance & I were both off Wed. thru Monday for Thanksgiving. That is truly something to be thankful for. I have LOVED the three of us being home and spending time together. Kaden has gotten very attached to Daddy this week. And, he now says, "Da Da!" Which Daddy LOVES!!!
Our tree is up and pretty well baby proofed. All wooden ornaments and ribbon. No beeds, glass balls, or hooks. He really isn't interested in it anymore. Only the first two days did he attempt to pull on things. Now he doesn't seem to notice it at all.
This is Lance & Kaden at the honda dealership. Oh Yes, we bit the bullet and became a mini-van driving family! We bought a Honda Odyssey, and we LOVE it! We really needed more room.

I still can't believe I now drive a mini-van! Ha! Guess I'm officially considered old now!
Thanksgiving day we spent with LOTS of family, Lance's and mine! Two dinners in one afternoon, FUN!!! This is Kaden in his Turkey bib having a bottle with his Aunt Vicki.
This is Kaden with Tammy, one of my first cousins.
This is Nana and Kaden...
This is my Aunt Linda, who hosted us all in her new home!
This is me and Kim, my other first cousin. (This is Montana & Cloe's Mom)
Lance with Dakota and Dustin, my two nephews, my brother Lenny's boys.

My brother, Lenny, getting attacked by Kaden

What could this sweet thing possibly be up to?

This is EXACTLY how I found him!
Little boys who play hard, sleep just as hard...

He finally starting trying to hold his own bottle, we do not make him, of course, but it's pretty cute that he trys!

This little guy L-O-V-E-S the dog food and dog food bowls, and he has officially sampled some dog food already! Ooopppsie!

Kaden has slept in his room in his bed for over three weeks now! YAY!
Kaden came to my school a couple of weeks ago for his picture with Santa Claus. All my teacher friends just LOVED him! He was so good and sweet!
Kaden shopping at JCPenney with Mom and Dad, Blue bear, and Lama...
Daddy and Kaden at a local basketball game...
Lance, Kaden and I went to dinner at Texas Land and Cattle and Kaden was asleep when we got there...

Then, we had to go to Bass Pro, of course!

Kaden was having NO PART of SANTA! HE HATED HIM!!!
We had to go visit Granddaddy Mabe in the hospital. (Lance's dad)
We still know nothing about Lance's Dad. he goes back to Baylor Monday to see his doctor, hopefully they will know something by then.
We just LOVE this little guy!
Happy 10 months Kaden! You are growing like crazy and B-U-S-Y!
You are wearing 18 and some 24 month clothes. You are wearing size 4 diapers, but sleeping in size 5 at night. (*Mommy tip-if your little boys start leaking out over night buy a small package of the next size up diaper just for them to sleep in, it works great!) What will we do when you are soon in size 5 diaper? They only go to size 6! YIKES!
You weigh 25 pounds, and you still only have your bottom two teeth. You say "Ma Ma, and Da Da and you gabber ALL the time now. You crawl EVERYWHERE and FAST! You are pulling up and cruising on furniture. You are calling the donkey's and you love looking out the glass dorrs at your JJ's for kitties, horses and cows.
You are eating stage 2 and some stage 3 baby food. You are eating yogurt and yogurt melts now. You are starting on puffs now, and you love you sippy cup. You always want a drink everytime we have a drink.
You still like bath time, and you play so well. You are a happy and good baby.
We couldn't have asked for a better baby than you are. We love you and we are SO proud of you!
