3 Months Already?

Kallie, you are growing way to fast for your Mommy.  You are so big and long.  I think your well past 25 inches long, and weight close to twelve and a half pounds.  You are so long and tall looking!  A bunch of clothes seem to be to small for you just because of them being to short for you.  You are wearing 3 month clothes, but can still wear a few of your 0-3 month things.  You wear a size 2 diaper, but not for long, they are getting snug.  You are eating a 6 oz bottle every 3-4 hours and sleeping 8 hours at night.  (Hallelujah!)

Kallie, I love that your beautiful red hair is starting to grow and glow and show off!  People adore you everywhere we go with you.  You are the happiest baby and smile at everyone who talks to you. 

You will coo and blow bubbles and try to talk with anyone who will converse with you.  You love to kick and you are rolling from your back to your side now.  You LOVE your bath time, it’s your favorite.  But, you hate getting lotioned up afterwards.  You are just the prettiest baby we have ever seen.  And so happy all the time.  You are truly the best baby.  You love your swing and will happily swing and then fall asleep there.

Isn’t that crazy how fast a baby grows and changes?  These three short months have brought so much joy to our hearts, Kallie.  Your Daddy, brother and I adore you.  You are one LOVED little girl.  We enjoy every moment with you.  We love you baby girl!

Brother and Sister LOVE

I had an incredible hostess for one of my Thirty One parties last week, she went all out, so I took pictures.  I loved the food line up and all the fall decor.

This is my typical set up these days for a home party.

Her porch was so pretty!  Made me long to do things like this at my house one day.  Notice I said One Day.  This is not the season of life for time for things like this, but I love the way it looks.

This was my sweet hostess, what a fun party! 

I seriously get paid to attend parties and hang out with ladies and shop!  How cool is that?  I love my job and the people I meet through it.

This isn’t the best picture (she is asleep), but if you recall, this outfit was Kaden’s, given to us by my dear friend, Rochelle.  I love this little fuzzy warm cow suit, and I was so afraid she wouldn’t get to wear it because it is a 3 month outfit, but it turned cold Sunday morning, in the 50’s, so she wore it to church.  The picture below was Kaden in this outfit!

 

They are so different, yet so similar.  I can’t believe my baby boy is already this kid in the batman jacket below, where does the time go?  This was taken at church yesterday morning. 

I am so in love with my baby girl.

Kallie Ann is getting baptized at church next Sunday and we are transferring our membership to this new church.  So thankful to have a church home to raise our kids in.

Kaden and his Sissy before church started.  Kaden is starting Wonderful Wednesday’s at church this week.  They go from 6-8 p.m. and do more in depth activities, stories and songs about their Sunday lesson.  I’m so excited to see how he likes it and what he learns.  God is truly working on him already.

Kaden Angus can not get enough of his Sissy.  He wants to hold her and love on her and help me all the time with her.  He is the sweetest thing to her and she adores him already.  I hope he always adores his baby sister.  :)  He says things to her like, “Aren’t you the cutest?”  “Missy Prissy!”  and “Ittybittybottyboopboopboop!”  He’s a mess talking to her.  And, she LOVES him!

She is so content with her Bubba holding her, she never fusses.  It is true brother/sister love.  Does it get any sweeter?

She listens.

Today she sat in her Bombo chair for the first time and watched Bubba play in his room.  She loved being in his room.

And tonight, Daddy read them both a night time story.  My three loves all snuggled up and happy.  It’s moments like these that make all the hard days worth it.  I love you three!

Homecoming, Kallie’s first Church Day

Believe it or not, it has been 15 years since I graduated high school, and 15 years since i have attended a high school football game.  Lance and I decided to go and see my alma motto play their homecoming game.  Kaden loved the bulldog, but would not touch her.  He was pretty intimidated by her.  She just wanted a high five!

Kaden had a great time rolling down the big hill with the other kids at the stadium.  All boy is he!

I have been partying a lot with my Thirty One business.  This was at my $1650 hostesses party, she had every intention to have this outside here at their cabin by the pond.  It was a beautiful outside space on the first day of fall, but it was 90 degrees at 4 p.m. and it was too hot.  So, everyone jammed in this tiny cabin in the a/c.  It was a great party!  Over 25 people there!

And, Kallie went with me.  She was a hit at the party!  She was so good and never cried once in four hours.  What a party girl!

We had our first Sunday at church as a family of four the Sunday after she got her 2 month shots.  We switched churches recently.  Kaden needs a childrens program, and we found a super Sunday school, Children’s church, and Wonderful Wednesday’s program for him to attend.  I have been blown away with what he has learned in four short weeks in these programs.  He has learned to pray, it is truly the sweetest thing in the world.  He is learning songs and getting that strong foundation built in the Lord.  I am one proud Momma!  These pictures are of Kallie’s first Sunday at church.  I am so proud of my family.

Last Days of Summer

We went to the Harbor to the splash pad a couple weeks ago for Kaden to get in one last good play in the water.  Plus, it’s free entertainment!  He is always slow to warm up to this idea, but once he gets all wet, he loves it and never wants to leave and then begs to go back again and again and again, even when its cold outside.  As you can see, Miss Priss slept the activity away.

But, she did have her swim suit on!  I had to get at least one wear out of that thing! 

You can tell that Daddy worked all summer and didnt get to enjoy any outdoor time in shorts!  :)

This sweet boy is so red headed.  Everywhere we go people say how pretty his hair is.  EVERYWHERE!  He is growing up way to fast.  I wish I could push pause for a little while and enjoy this imaginative, creative, fun 3 year old.  He is so much fun!  He is three and a half foot tall and 43 pounds.  He is wearing a size 12/13 shoe.  He wears a size 5T or regular 5 clothes.  My baby is no more, he is now in kids sizes.

Sister slept through her first fall festival, but there will be many more years for her.  :)

And then, there was County Fair Day.  Kallie got to meet Mrs. Georgia, and cousin Kristi & Shannon.

Kaden is not scared of any rides and would ride anything.  He loves it!  He also LOVES to dress up like a pirate!  Aaarrrggghhh!
