Inauguration Day 2009

What a wonderful and amazing country we live in. I have been awake most of the morning watching the coverage of the Inauguration of our new 44th President, Barak Obama.
I am sharing it all with little Kaden and telling him all about the President of our country and how important it is to be patriotic and support our country.
Moments and days like this make me so proud to be an American. So proud to live in such a wonderful free country where I can choose to live the way I wish. Days like this also make me beam with pride and wipe a tear from my eyes for our veterans and friends that have been lost in war defending our precious country. I know that because of the sacrifice of so many, I am able to experience these wonderful moments in history, and share them with my children. My only wish is that those soldiers could see what they made possible for us everyday Americans. I thank you William Douglas 'Doug' Richardson for your sacrifice and I shall never forget your gift to me as an American.
On a lighter note, Aretha Franklin ROCKED singing My Country, "Tis of Thee"...WoW!
That was AWESOME!!! And, now we have a brand new President of the United States for the birth of our brand new son in days.
