Kaden's Week!

Kaden has had a BIG week. Today that top tooth is FINALLY in! We can see it when he grins or opens his mouth wide! It looks so funny to see a tooth on top! So, now we have three teeth! Finally!

Kaden is very busy these days...

My good friend, Leah, sent this outfit to Kaden for Christmas. It's a Texas Flag Western onsie with Wrangler bloomer bottoms. So sorry his cowboy boots no longer fit him. Thanks for the outfit Miss Leah! It's TOO CUTE!

This ALL took place before 7 a.m. people!

Later in the morning I had to barakade him into the living room with dining chairs so I could mop! He didn't agree with this too much and threw a fit to get with me in the kitchen. So, I had to let him have some puffs so I could finish quickly!

Kaden had big boy peas and carrots tonight for dinner. I bought canned peas and carrots of the canned vegetable aisle, instead of baby food, it's a lot cheaper, and he is totally into feeding himself now!

And, a little after dinner soak...

Big Drink! (But, there was nothing in there! Ha!)

Then, he helped Mom do his laundry!

He LOVES laundry and likes to 'help'. He is not much help, but he doesn't know that.

You have probably also noticed that this is his third outfit of the day. Lets just say that teething make Kaden have bathroom issues that aren't real fun for mommy.

And, now finally, Kaden is in his crib asleep for the night. So, I finally have a moment to type this!

I bar-b-qued chicken wings on the grill today and then got to use my Buffalo Wild Wing Sauce on them. They were Yum-o! Even Lance liked them, and he isn't a wing fan. (Or maybe he just told me he liked them, either way, I think he did because he got more!)

I got all the hard floor surfaces in my house mopped today. I would be embarrased to say when the last time I mopped was, wish I could remember. Yuck! But, my floors look and feel so clean now! Totally worth it to have clean floors! Tomorrow I hope to get out the carpet cleaner, but that just isn't a hole lot of fun, so I keep putting it off, but I need to.

Also, I haven't done a weight update in a while. I have been eating okay, I've had several slack off days and then I'll do good for several days, but haven't walked OR worked out since before Christmas! Pretty sad to admit. I am getting back on my workout schedule MONDAY. I weigh 146 right now, and want to weight 138! So, I have 8 pounds to loose, which I KNOW I can do with excercise. So, back to work I go!

Speaking of work, the school year is halfway over, thank goodness. I am really looking forward to summer with my little guy this year. I think we are going to have lots of great adventures this summer. It is SO hard for me to go to work each day and leave him, but I just keep telling myself that I am doing what I have to do. Oh how I would love to stay home with him.

I have been faithfully reading my Bible each day. I had started reading my Bible everyday the beginning of October, starting with Genesis and reading through the Bible. I decided just before the first of the year, that I needed to go back and start a journal, and take notes as I read through the Bible. I have now read and taken notes and written scripture to memorize or use as reference for Genesis, Exodus, Leviticus, Numbers, Deuteronomy, and I have just begun Joshua. I am enjoying it so much, and have gained so much knowledge and great scripture to equip myself with. What a great gift God has given to me to have His word, and I have neglected the fact that I could use His word all these years. It's increadible how God has opened my eyes and changed me spiritually this year. I am so thankful that God forgives me and loves me unconditionally, and has waited so paitiently for me my whole life to turn over this new leaf. It feels so good to be living in God's word.
